UBUNTU BLACK FAMILY WELLNESS COLLECTIVE
In the Community. From the Community. For the Community
WHO WE ARE
Our Roots
Here at Ubuntu Black Family Wellness Collective, we know all to well that Black mamas and babies dying is a reality built through injustice and structural racism. We believe we must work together in the community to find solutions to the challenges created by a system that was designed to see us fail. Black mamas and Black babies aren't broken. By working together as a community we can see Black mamas, babies and families not just survive but thrive
WHAT WE OFFER
Community Centered Pregnancy and Parenting Support
By offering services without barriers in a community-centered setting we can restore the balance and power back into the hands of those who should be the most important

SUPPORT

At Ubuntu Black Family Wellness Collective, we know that healthcare access is only a small part of what creates challenges. We understand that we can't be our best when we are just struggling to get by.
We offer support to our neighbors through our diaper bank, food pantry, mothers' closet filled with new to you nursery items, clothes and other items.
EDUCATION

We offer prenatal and parenting classes to help families be informed throughout their pregnancies and parenting. We want to give you the power to make informed decisions about your health. No one knows your body or your baby better than you.

"In Africa there is a concept known as 'ubuntu' - the profound sense that we are human only through the humanity of others; that if we are to accomplish anything in this world it will in equal measure be due to the work and achievement of others."
